Successful Biogas Day in March

Multilingual seminars about increasing efficiency on biogas plants well received by visitors

"Increase Efficiency - reduce operation costs" was the slogan of the first Biogas Days in March 2009 at Vogelsang's headquarter in Essen, Oldenburg. At the 19th of March more than 40 people from Great Britain, Ireland and Italy gathered information on two paralell events about pump-, crushing- and techniques for biogas plants. In the afternoon followed the visit of two biogas plants. Amongst one for renewable primary products and an industrial one for coferments, which disposes leftovers from the food industry and gives it heat to regional customers.
At the second day, the 25th of March there was a German seminar, which was well attended with more than 60 people.
As on the international Seminar the managing director Harald Vogelsang reffered on possibilities of increasing efficiency through technics from Vogelsang. Thanks to the active participation of the audience expert discussions on concret questions took place.
In the following there was a factory tour with machine demonstations, which showed the family business and its products to the guests. After Lunch the day was completed through the visit of two biogas plants for renewable primary products, to combine theory and praxis.
