X-Ripper - when the going gets tough

The X-Ripper is right at home wherever solids are to be shredded.Its ruggeddesign using the proven double-shaft system allows economical shredding of large amounts of solids in liquid media.  Design

Based on the proven components of the Vogelsang rotary lobe pumps, the cutting wheels are made of special steel and rotate counter to each other.They are mounted on shafts that do not have contact with the medium. The QD design is supported on both sides, assures high performance, and allows service and maintenance within the shortest time -on site and without disassembly and removal of the X-Ripper.In the end, that means long operating times with minimal downtimes.

 Function

Through the different rotary speeds of the cutting wheels, the X-Ripper rips apart materials with long fibres. The sharp points and edges cut the solid materials, whilecoarse and brittle pieces are ground between the cutting wheels. The cutting grade is adjusted by changing the geometries of the cutting wheel.

X-Ripper Kombi - a real alternative

A real alternative to conventional systems: the combination of the X-Ripper and the proven Vogelsang rotary lobe pump. As both are based on the same technology, we are able to unite both functions in a compact unitcomprising pump anddouble-shaft shredder. Thanks to our Marathon technology and the QD cover, it is possible to service, maintain and exchange spare parts on-site without disassembling and removing the shredder and pump.
